Requirements for PulsimSuite

Training

The Help pages of PulsimSuite provide ample information, and a tutorial, to learn the basics of how to use the software. To give you a “flying start”, and to teach engineers with less experience in pulsation studies the basics of the acoustic – and mechanical analysis of reciprocating systems, we provide dedicated, single-client trainings.

Field measurements

With our team of field measurement engineers, TNO is a one-stop shop for field measurements, data analysis, trouble shooting and model-based predictions.

Flow forcing

With our field experience and academic understanding, we work on the modelling and prediction of (multiphase) flow instabilities and multi-composition flow challenges. We design experimental setups in our lab to validate models of fluid-structure-interaction phenomena and verify solutions.

Pulsimsuite

PulsimSuite is a TNO software tool to perform acoustic (pulsation) analyses of pipe systems. The flow in pipe systems is often not steady, but pulsating as a result of a reciprocating compressor or pump. The compressor-induced pulsations, in combination with the fluid properties and a potentially resonating pipe system, may result in unallowable pulsation levels. Not only will you see if your system complies to internationally accepted standards (API), you can also virtually investigate potential solutions to mitigate the pulsation levels.
